I see...

I guess I'm just naive. No, I wasn't being sarcastic; just sorry I asked!

Thanks for the interpretation, though.

What does he mean, exactly?

From Mr. McClouds latest blog; On the Sam and Frodo question: Is it just me, or did anyone else find it funny that Sam went home to the family ("you can't always tear yourself in two, Sam") while Frodo sails with Ian McKellen off to THE LAND OF THE ELVES. I mean... Does that even qualify as "subtext...

I've been doing a Webcomic since May 2002. My subject matter is pretty, well, boring to most people. My ART is Okay, and getting better. My writing is weak, but it's also SLOWLY improving. Not many people read it, and those that do rarely return. So WHY do I bother making sure I do an Update every w...

The Pile Grows

Admittidly, I'm a little new at this, but the way I've been working so far is to make a basic script (kind of like a screenplay in appearance), do the artwork, then revise the script to fit the panels. I can't count the number of times I've written one thing, then have the panels and the characters ...

... what happens when the big bad bears actually turn around and squeeze webcomics. Am I paranoid? I understand your paranoia only too well, Sandy. However, I'm unsure of what Marvel or any other Big Bear could do to push out us little folks. Of course, I AM hoping that in the end it is the freedom...

Naming

My personal favorite method is to take characterisitics of the character I am attempting to name and try to associate them to create the name. Example: A female character with red hair, pale skin, a quick wit, and an even quicker temper might be associated with: Level 1 Firebird, albino, fox, storm ...

The key is in the term 'Adaptations', to which each clause applies itself to. Media content is not considered an Adaptation. Only the supplied elements (ie. the software) can be 'Adapted', as this is the only element that is supplied by the issuer. That being said, if you apply this software to your...

That's right ... I've seen several of these EULA's with "experimental" software, and they are indeed refering to the Software itself, not the content created with it.

Sadly, I will not be giving you the humiliation treatment.

There is a time and a place for everything, and this page seems to be both the time and place for your colour and layout choices.

I like it a lot better than your last page; this really suits your work.

While I can see Greg's point about the pause being a waste of essential space in a four-panel (or less) comic strip, I disagree about it's use in longer book formats. The pause can be essential in emphasizing the previous panels emotional or psychological impact, not to mention being a simple way to...
