The Everydaycomics
The Everydaycomic, a blatant rip-off of Scott McCloud's Morning Improv - started a loooong while ago, but in a rather disclosed circle of fellow artists. For some weeks now, I am doing more or less the same as Mr. McCloud - formwise, that is: I let the public participate by giving them the ability to suggest titles. Recently, I have finished the first new Everydaycomic based on this new premise after a long hiatus and am now working on a new one, again with the title suggested by a reader (still need to translate it (Abyss of Passion) and contact the guy who suggested it).
Comments, suggestions, hints, flames? I know the design of the site sucks as of now, but I will change that as soon as I have some time. But advice is welcome here just as it is with the content, the comics. Have at it!

I have recently started a new one, though I have to admit I had to lay off the thing for a few days inbetween because of schedule trouble.
One of the fellow posters around these parts suggested the title for it, "Leave the Oranges To Me".
I like it so far.

Included in the current one. Will add that to the other ones, too, where applicable. Thanks for the feedback.Anonymous wrote:A way to get back to the main page from each comic would be good.

Finished my last one ("Leave the Oranges To Me") a little over two weeks ago and have started my new one ("Substance & Opinion") a few days ago. As far as I can tell, it's my 12th Everydaycomic.
The main site for the Everydaycomics remains a bit clumsily designed. I will get my hands on that as soon as I find the time.
Comments are welcome.

Also, if you drop by, feel free to suggest a title that I can use for one of the upcoming comics!

I'm really enjoying your current everyday comic: Substance and Opinion ( http://www.radicalartistfoundation.de/zero.htm ). I like the control you give the reader and the comic is very visually interesting. Everbody who hasn't should check this out.

I think that putting a strikethrough in every link that would have people leave your comic is deadly clever.
It's like saying "Nah, yee don wanna now now do yee? Yee could, But yee'd be a lilly-livered coward... ARRRRR! "
At this point, I'd like to mention that I was overseas when Talk Like A Pirate Day happened, and thus no one told me about it. Thus I am making up for it with this post.

I don't really have an idea of what you are talking about, but I plan to redesign my whole sites @ the RAF soon. I'll make it more structured and easier accessible, so any link stuff will be cleared out more or less.William Beckerson wrote:I think that putting a strikethrough in every link that would have people leave your comic is deadly clever.

Thanks for the kind words, Kris. Looking back through the one comic I did with your suggestion, I see I really have to redo a few panels. Hopefully I will get that done, soon, too.
As for titles, it'd be cool to have some more to choose from. So take some drugs if you must (only legal ones!) and submit some (titles, not drugs)!

Ah, now I see. The strike-through flag is for links that have already been visited. So I am not reserving it for links that leave my site.
I'll drop that prolly anyhow, though. We'll see.

I have finally managed to redesign my sites (at least the everydaycomics stuff) and put it online. No new everydaycomic, yet, though.
I hope it is fully functional, but need people testing. Thus, have at it:

"Stoff und Meinung" aka "Substance and Opinion" can be found in the archive.Kris Lachowski wrote:the site looks good but what happened to the comic between oranges and the one you're doing now?
